Skin Make-Up Layer:

I successfully used this technique several times. Create a new layer over the HS. Take a brush and paint a skin MAKE-UP all over the HS's face with the most characteristic BS colour. Erase all the excessive make-up from the eye, lips and nostrils. Change the layer mode to Overlay. Now keep playing with this layer. Try to change the layer opacity. Try to adjust the Hue, Saturation and Brightness. The adjustment of this layer combined with the adjustment layers applied to HS resolved for me the most desperate colouring problems in a simple yet effective way.
